David sought one final attempt of affirmation from his father, of how deep his Natural-Knowing is (of our Cherokee origin) and that perhaps that’s Why dad called him Chief all of his Life. But he would not receive the affirmation, until a few days before his 49th birthday in 2020, through an act of re-gifting the Cherokee Chief bust that David bought day 7 years ago.
David: “Why have you called me by the nickname of Chief all my life?”
Father John: “I don’t know … it’s just a nick name I gave ya.”
David: “So you don’t recall any special reason or meaning for uttering that, especially when I was really young?”
Father: “hmmm, no, not sure I recall.”
Grandfather certainly knew though, in the sharing of Cipher which would spark a Journey of Remembering, for his ‘Self’ and millions of Others.
David, no longer feeling any guilt for not being able to reinstate his Father’s own knowing of our denied Matriarchal lineage, sets out on his own to return balance to Life.
