Since age 5, I have drawn triangles (3 sided and 2 sided), with or without dots nearby, and U curves, again with or without dots, all facing the 4 directions.   I drew the yin-yang b and inverted d symbols, vertically and horizontally.  Since age 7 I have written my maternal-granted English name (David), as < A I V > , now rePresented in my Logo …

In late March of 2022, while exploring my mother’s side of Indigenous history and attempting to learn my Ojibwe Ancestor’s sound/voice/culture, I was stunned and blissed out to realize that I carry their knowledge deep in my DNA, clearly.   Have a look at the Ojibwe syllabic chart sample (and full system at bottom).   Again, look at the symbols I drew growing up!

How did I hold on to our language, verbal and especially written – the Original form, not the anglicized form post European contact 1492?   Amazing!

A funny realization just now … my family recalls me frequently saying when I was very young, what sounded like uh-oh, [i have to] pee pee, or papa pee pee“.

“uh-oh” or “papa” was really “pah poh“, AND what sound like “Pee Pee” which really was “Pee Pay” … which was me saying my Midewiwin name < > and ^ v.

Each time I answered them with my true name, somehow resembling David, or <A|v>, they would push me into the bathroom.  Funny!!!   Whenever my dad would utter “a person’s name doesn’t mean piss[it’s their character that matters]” I was triggered to these early-day memories, and quite confused, until just TODAY!!   wow, funny shit!

I was actually sounding out these Midewiwin sacred rites pictographs!!   Bizarre!

As I’ve attempted to dictate my own book, I’ve struggled with over emphasizing my “P” sounds.  Microphone “pops” is what my sound-engineer friend labels it.    Weird and wonderful!

The affirmations of who I really ‘am’, keep flowing in, the more I broaden my Attention and allow my-Self to DIvE into living, becoming just an ordinary self.   Amazing!
